Aluminum boat repair

Tonka Boy

Question

Hey guys/gals,

I know this topic has been dicussed before, but can anyone tell me what to use to seal an aluminum boat? I have an older 12' boat that is leaking through the rivets. I did read the previous post about rivet replacement, but I also remember someone mentioning something about a silicone(or something similar)product that can be applied by paintbrush. Thanks for your help.

I used a cheaper version of jb weld marine on my 12 footer, and it works just fine. Was a tube for about 5 bucks at the hardware. Make sure you get the marine kind. JB weld marine is only a couple bucks more.

I am meeting with a guy this weekend that has a liquid rubber product. I have talked to him about leaky boats and we are going to discuss whether this product can be used for the leaky boat application, and if it will work on aluminum boats. I am trying to get him to use my duck boat as a guinea pig. If this product works and if it seems to be a simple application, I will let you all know. Maybe send a sample to Rick for testing.

Sounds like this liquid rubber might work, the only drawback is it gets sticky in hot weather. So if you put it on the inside of your boat you may have to put down floor to cover up the product. Cold weather is no problem keeps it's elasticity up to 65 below. Have to get my little duck boat out of storage this summer and the guy is going to give me a sample to try on the bottom of my boat.

keep you posted.....

It is strange that the developers did not think of such a nuance. In any case, you need to place an ad on the labor exchange, where you will find employees for the company and they will work with you, only you will need to conduct a preliminary interview

Creating an application for such a hotel would be the best option. Place your ad on the job exchange on the Internet, I know a few of these, then you can find developers for yourself and the work will go much easier

You won’t have to search for a long time, rather you will need to choose from the options offered. Look on the Internet for all the available options, such developers usually have their own sites that have all the information you need

I am sure that if you search in the google search engine you will find a company that is dedicated to that, but to be honest I have not much idea, I never planted the idea of something like that, from my ignorance it is very complicated, but maybe someone who have more notion of it can guide you and can even recommend a company with a good reputation that is dedicated exclusively to it, good luck with all that

Haven't really targeted geese, think we've got 3 Ross geese a blue goose and one Canada goose. We focus more on ducks, especially when we can get them in the field. Greater and lesser Canada geese around but they are spread out tons of feeds but no large feeds

Finally got the choirs done. Roofed a shed and built a woodshed. Most done by myself. Now's time to go fishing before the deer season.  Found some crappies tonight, caught 11, missed at least that many. West end. Skunked again, how'd you do, saw you heading out?
