Eyes in the river

Have been wanting to do the Mn river for some flats and eyes but I have been waiting for the current to slow a tad.

So, I hit a smaller river yesterday and that surely was worth my time.

Water was a bit muddy but I did manage to land 3 nice eaters with a jig and miinow for 2 of them and a mr twister in yellow for the other.

Now, on to the Minnesota river for some flathead and eye action hopefully.

I have ventured up and down the blue earth with some takers but nothing big or worth keeping. Couple neat looking sauger though. All the flats on this river have been in the 10-12 pound range so far. Thinking the Watonwon (sp?) is on my next venture.

Harvey I was looking at the national weather service forcast for the next few days and that river might be roaring right back up again. Looks like 2+ inches for our area if they are right.

I am already at 2.1 since 9am this morning and it is raining now and rain in the forecat for the next 2 days with severe thunderstorms Saturday.

More muddy water.
