I am planning on going out to minnetonka tommorow at the hennepin county park in minnetrista. I was wondering what the temperatures are and how the fishing is on the west end of the lake. What fish are biting right now?

The water temps are 51.9 degrees. There are alot of people fishing in Seton channel. I saw a few fish being caught yesterday as I drove by.

51.5 main lake and 53 - 53.6 in smaller bays. Casting Small plastic grubs or ice jigs w/minnow under a slip bobber are working. Fish are moving in and out, move around a bit. You'll want to search with your sonar deeper to locate them and then be prpared to move up shallow as the water warms through the day.

temps were 50s avg around the lake sunday. should be alot warmer with these warming temps now. bobber and minnow produces really well! just be ready to move around and find them, once you do, you'll have a great time!

What is the main lake temp again? Planning on a spot and it should be way cooler than upper 60's. Still under 55?
