hows the current

Heading up this weekend and wondering if anyone can help me out with the river current. Wondering how much weight to use with the no roll sinkers. Thanks

Water level and flow running thru the Manitou is higher now than it has been all spring. Looks like she'll crest in the next day or two.

No where near as bad as it coulda been this year though! Depending on just what stretch of river you're planning on fishing I don't think you'd need more than 3oz maybe 4oz's tops, and for sure bring yourself an assortment of lighter weights too.

Was up there yesterday. 3 0z. no rolls were fine. Lots of junk floating through by Clementson, had to clean off every 5 minutes. No fish seen caught there. At noon went to Wheelers and fished rest of the day. Only saw 2 caught all afternoon. Heard it was better farther upstream.

Looks like it will crest around 10.5 feet,just checked.Should start dropping soon.
