Matt and Jen were happy where minnesota was so I did not have to move it today which was a good thing as The windchill must of been close to 30 below if not more. Leroy and Clint rolled in for one night in florida around noon. With customers in florida and minnesota I made sure both houses had brand new 100 lb propanes as the temps are predicted to be 25 below tonight.

Tomorrow I will be battling mother nature as I move florida and minnesota. The snow has created all kinds of drifts and at times today the visabilty was less then a 1/4 /mile. After dark was a whole different story and I hope no one is driving around out there tonight. The roads will be needing some cleanup after this blows threw. Then when fishermen drive through the drifts in the roads they become bigger with more snow. It make quite the mess. All the houses will have drifts to deal with also. Kelly was welding up the drag this morning on the lake when it was 10 below.

Just talked to my grandson Dalton and he and some of his relatives are headed your way tomorrow Cookie. He said they are booked in Montana for the weekend. Looks like the forecast should be good. Hope he catches some fish, I taught him everything I know....LOOOL. Have a good weekend.

      Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

      That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.

      I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
