Where to fish near Duluth

Recommended Posts

I am new to the area and am looking to find some crappie, eye, or sunny action after class near duluth. I duck hunted a little on Fish lake earlier this year and was thinking about just blindly trying that. Not looking for anyones hot spots or anything. Just looking for a little nudge in the right direction. Thanks!

sam10basefish,

Are you new to the Duluth area or the Elk river area you have listed in your profile. Have you posted anything in the Duluth forum down the main forum list a bit?

(BWCA-Duluth-Gunflint Trail-North Shore Lake Superior)

Fish lake would be a good place to start seeing you have been on that lake in the past. I would go out of HiBanks resort at this point to access the lake. Send me and e-mail if you would like and we can try to figure something out. e-mail is below my signature...

P.S. I looked at your post again and I'm guessing you are in Duluth as a student seeing you are talking about after class. So no need to answer my first question. contact me via e-mail and look into the Duluth forum and we'll go from there.
