Anyone ever fish Rice creek? Whats in there for fish? Bullheads?

No fish in Rice Creek. Don't go there.

You can get most of the variety of fish that inhabit Long Lake. If you go there, wear protective eye-wear. There are lots of people on the banks waving big hooks around to snag fish.

Bullheads, carp, and occassional bass or pike.

maj330 is a funny dude. you can get all of the above plus if you can get there just in time for it, you can catch a ton of crappies when they run thru the creek. hard to tell when they'll be there but when they are, there will be a lot of people on the banks right under county hwy 10 and county rd H in moundsview. good spot for small bullheads btw

My dad used to catch carp and pike out of there in the spring... went back to try out his old spots and construction and things have altered its course but there are still snakes and rough fish to be had! Think the walleyes spawn up it in April?? Or do we consider Long Lake stock fish only??
