River Open

Rainy is open at nelson and 2 miles to the west today. Driving down the road to frontier, the river is open in alot of areas, but some ice to go threw. One camper and boat at nelson landing this afternoon. Good luck everyone and just remember to respect everyone else, you are all there for the same thing.

One thing after reading my own post, the river is open, but the landings still have 70' of ice from the landing to the water.

I seen a few duck boats go by today and a 14' with a 15hp so I figure the center must have opened up.

Howdy! What's the word, any reports of how far the ice is out? Is it past Frontier yet? How bout it...

River is open at Frontier. One truck and trailer parked there at around 4:30 this afternoon. Hard to tell how far the river is open because you can not see it north of Frontier. But there was a boat fishing north of the landing there.
