pike lake fishing how is it?

Recommended Posts

Crappies are hard to find this time of year on Pike. I'm surprised you are even catching Walleyes, it seems like they are around but they never bite.

It's tough enough to troll for them, much less trying to get on to bite through an 8" hole

Went out there at about 1pm on the 12th for unfortunately about two hours but we caught a lot of nice perch. I almost lost faith in that lake cant wait to get out there and really track the fish down when it get a bit warmer.

Pike has been off and on the past few days, have managed a couple nice eyes, a nice 14 incher today. The perch have been hitting all day. However, some of them seem to have a parasite the black dot ones and the white ones, the size has been getting bigger with the average around 8 inches. Good luck, the crappies should start turning on here soon.

Went out yesterday at about 1 caught about 4 good size perch right away and then a few small eyes but really nothing to brag about. Has anyone tried the other side of the point farthest away from the landing? Always wanted to try over there but never wanted to make the hike.

Went out today from 4-730pm. Found the honey hole for perch. After all the moving and drilling holes we found a monster school of perch in a new spot. kept four 11 inchers and five that were 9 or 10 inches long. Hope everyone is fairing well out there.
