Warroad lights

I am wondering what colors the 3 lights are at the river in Warroad. Also what order they are in. If I understand correctly once you line all 3 up you can then head straight in of the lake. Is this correct? How far out are they visable? What bearing is the line when they are all lined up?

I always thought there were only two. on each tower. once you line the two towers up you were in the channel of the river. it was more used for soft water fishing.

Those lights are on whats called day boards in nautical terms, its marking the middle of the channe. They dont make too good of a chart for LOW but it does show them on there... Buoys are not as accurate as people think they are....Aligning yourself with these is a safer bet to stay in the channel.. The one other issue though is people don't realize they are not allowed to anchor and fish in marked channels...you will have to manuever around these folks some days too!!

Day beacons they are. Usually the red 'blinker' buoy lines right up with them during open water when the nav aids are out.

What about all the tubers in the summer? I'd rather navigate around an anchored boat.
