Good Lakes Bad Lakes? Slush?

Any north metro lakes (FL,Chisago,WB,BE,BM)worse than the other while using the 4 wheeler? Looking to get out for the first time this week but don't want to deal with slush on the 4 wheeler.

was on bald eagle last weekend and its good out to weed island but anywhere else going to find snow and slush and its deep / you can make it on wheeler but have to beable to put the hammer down and your stuff not to tip over because it gets deep 1/2 slush 1/2 snow

I would stay off forest lake #3 what a mess I barely made it out of a few spots. If you see nice smooth areas of snow it has 6-8 inches of slush. If you follow a path it is so rough that your equipment in the sled gets pounded. We drilled our holes and the water from the slush layer was pouring back into the lake and after a few minutes the top of the hole was 2" under water.

Slush has been spotty on the SE side of Clear Lake and pretty spotty on Forest. Around Willow Point I didn't run into too much slush but I agree with the rough ride/walk out to fish.
