There hasn't been much posted about fishing over in the Warroad area. Anyone been over by Springsteel (sandbar,DNR reef,5-mile,Elm,S.Tip,Whiskey). I know the cold front shut things down last weekend, but someone had to have pulled up a hog or two! Whats been working?

fishings been good in the evenings on the sandbar and DNR, spotty during the day! limits almost every night! Talked to some folks that were at South tip and did ok, 8-12 inches of ice and little snow out there!

How does the situation with breakers look(is there any)? Plan on takin sleds out very soon. Do do Izzys and Reel Adventures have houses out?

No reel or izzys houses as of sunday.The lakes a mess out from warroad! intill the guys get to 5mi and groom a trail it is slow going out that way! I would go out of springsteel ice is way less broken up over that way. It is slow going about 30mph pulling any kind of house! The snow gets Less and LEss the further out a person gets! no real big breakers as of yesterday but that changes daily! I would guess Heath or Marty will be at the 5mi by the weekend.

How'd fishing go in the Big bay this past weekend??

I ventured out to 12-mile early this week and had some pretty decent luck.

18 in. of ice, fished 25 and 28 ft. bite was slow but steady. had a few dry spells, most of the action was from 10-2pm. nice mix of walleye/saugers.

Not for sure but I think RockyPoint had a few houses out. Any luck??

ran into a few guys at cenex late last night that came in to refill propane said they were having good luck at 12 mile as well.
