Hello to all of you avid fishermen and fisherwomen! As the saying goes, give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he will eat for life!

Along those lines, Jessica Anlauf (Pro Ron Anlauf's daughter) will be leading a working trip to the Dominican Republic to teach doll-making skills to the women of Hato Mayor, a small impoverished town, with a high rate of domestic violence. By teaching the women Hato Mayor skills in doll-making, they gain confidence, economic independence through selling their products and a strong voice in their community, which in turn significantly reduces the incidences of domestic violence.

I also wanted to clarify that this is a working mission trip through St. Peter and St. Paul's Catholic Church of Braham, MN. (A non-profit organization). It was brought to my attention by the state of minnesota gaming department that we had a complaint, so I hope that clears up any questions!

Also this is for a 1 day guided trip. The date is whatever is convenient for both parties. Once you win I'll get you in touch with Ron and you can figure out the details! And Ron's lake of choice is Mille Lacs, however, I am sure if you have another lake in the area you would like to fish he will accommodate you.
