MarCum VS 820 any pros or cons?

Thinking of purchasing a Marcum vs 820 any pro or cons on the unit, are they a good buy? Any other units you guys prefer?

I have an 820 and love it. my only wish is that it had a cig adapter cord for it.

I think the VS820 is a great unit. The 8" flat panel display, and the Sony underwater camera, are both really, really good. The VS820 has been around for a few years and has a really good track record, you really don't hear any problems or complaints about them.

About the only drawback, if you want to call it that, is that the VS820 is black/white only ...... some of the new cameras now are color, and the new cameras that replaced the VS820 this year are "switchable display" which means they show color or black/white, whichever you choose, and you can switch between them.

I believe that my VS380 had just about as good a picture as my 820.

I have the 820, it's like fishing in HD, can't wait to upgrade to the new color units.
