Sept 18th Gull

Recommended Posts

Thinking of making the trip up this Sat to Gull. Figured it would be a little quieter on the lake with the cooler temps and opening bow season. Anyone have current temps after last nights rain? Where should I start to look for the eyes? And last but not least, what time is Sportland open on Sat morn? (Has the morning bite or evening bite been better)? Thanks for any info.

Water temps are in the low 60s. Still catching quite a few fish. My last trip out there was a couple of days ago. I had my toughest day so far this fall. After the trip I made a few calls to find out it was only me that didn't find them. The bite is still going good on Gull. Time of day doesn't seem to matter too much. There have been lots of hot spots. I would just play the wind, start at the weed edge and work your way deeper. We open at 7 every morning. We'll see you this weekend. Good luck.
