Bush and the Heisman Trophy

It looks like Reggie Bush has pretty much confessed to being inelligable to win the Heisman Trophy while he was playing in college. By giving it up he wants to kill the negative publicity as fast as possible. Perhaps the Saints and other companies who paid him for promotions should file lawsiuts. A portion of the money he demanded was for possessing what he fradulently possesed; and he profited from that fraud.

He should also give a portion of his salary to USC for he has set that program back years.

USC was doing plenty wrong without him. smile

What Reggie Bush did was wrong, he broke the rules. That being said, I think there are some major issues in college sports that the NCAA/college presidents don't want to address either. The disparity between what the Universities make and what the kids get is pretty ridiculous, especially considering they have no way of challenging it or the rules/penalties put upon them.

His performance on the field is what got him the trophy and that heisman winning performance isn't really diminished by the stuff that was going on off the field. it wasn't like 'roids or something else.

sucks for the current usc students on the team, but i feel little compassion for the usc brass. i am sure bush is wiping away his lost heisman tears with $100 bills.
