current water temps?

Anyone been fishing Cass? What are water temps? We are making a quick trip up there this week-end....can't wait....it has been much too long. THANKS!

We were on Cass 9/7 to 9/10. We stayed on the north end of the lake. The surface water temps varied from 60.1 to 61.4. But we had strong south and southeast winds stacking up the warmer water on the north end. The fish we caught were significantly colder than the surface temp.

Thank-you Gunner, I'll report when we get back Sunday or Monday. If temps were about 60 already when you were there, they must be in the 50's now.

As of yeastwerday evening the temps were 57 to 59 depending on where you were at on Cass

At what temperature do those walleyes move shallow in Cass? I've never fished Cass before but heard it's primarily a redtail/lindy rig bite in the fall. Are there many people that try pulling shad raps, spinners etc? Just curious, we may head up there in october in between putting up deer stands and always heard cass is good

for walleyes in the fall.
