d.a.m. lures anyone know any info

hi i bought a used tackle box in it were several d.a.m. lures they say germany on them. they are inline spinners like a mepps are these vintage or should i just use them never heard of them before thanks for any help

Do a search on them for a bit of history. I believe they were popular imports from the 50's so they may have some worth if they aren't to beat up. I have some of the older d.a.m. spinning reels but not much for history for you.

I don't know anything about the history or the lures you have, but d.a.m. is a popular tackle company in Germany. A few years ago we sold some monofilament line they made, it was really good stuff and was priced really well compared to the stuff we have here .....

You'll need to search for them using "Quick Reels" as a search string. They are based in Germany and they've been around a long time. Their spinning reels were very popular here in the 60's and 70's, but this is a company with a very limited U.S. ditribution network. They make, among other things, Tectan monofilament which is sold exclusively by Cabelas.

I have a D.A.M spinning reel. Its getting purdy old now but I love it.
