Just want to send a BIG CONGRATS to Ross Korpela and his partner for a great third place finish in this weekends Big Muskie Tourney on the St. Louis River.

Chris Edquist and his partner also took home 14th place. Congrats!

These guys fished against some of the best Muskie sticks out there so finishing in the top 15 is AWESOME!

Also conditions were a challange with lots of wind but the field took it in stride.

With 46 boats and 51 measurable fish boated it was what they think will be the best % catch ratio they have had. Of course we all know the Muskie fishing in our back yard is FANTASTIC and getting better and better each year.

If they would have been here in July/August they really would have set some records!

Once again Congrats Ross and Chris!!

Ya thats where I got this info. I actually sat with Chris and his partner. Sounds like if they wouldnt have gotten a penalty for a bleeding out fish they could have been top 10 or so.
