I smelled ya!

I was out scouting for balsam boughs tonite in the Marcell/Bigfork area. Parked my rig and walked about a mile, when all of a sudden I caught the unmistakable odor of burning honey. Seemed to have a hint of anise to boot. I turned around and headed back out the way I came in. Hope I didn't spoil anyones hunt.

Sad I already miss that smell. Maybe I'll step outside and spray a little jelly donut scent, mmm.

I'm guessing that I was at least a couple hundred yards downwnd. The smell is unmistakeable to those of us that have smelled it. I was about as far in as I wanted to walk, so I did a quick about face.
