Hey Duluthers

I have a free Saturday so I'll be fishing my way up 35 from the Cities to Duluth. I like fishing the Lester, but realize its late in the year. I haven't fished up there at this time of year before, so without telling me too much information, would it be worth my time to fish around there?

Its not too late. Sept 3rd is early for the Fall runs though. Then again with the rain we've had there could be a run in. After all our rivers are what they are and the stocked(exotic) trout and salmon more times then not stage at the mounts and wait for the rivers to come up. So you might be in luck.

You won't see a post here saying the fish are in so don't let that discourage you.

Hey, if the rivers are dead then cast off the river mouths in low light times. Early morning and all night long.

Great, thanks. I'll be sure to give it a shot. I'm aiming for the Lester and several spots on the St Louis so I'll do my share and let you know how it goes.
