My First Bear

Recommended Posts

Thank you for all the info everybody provides on here. I used alot to take my first bear. 140 lb boar. And with my bow makes it even better! It came in at 525pm and then came back at 540pm and when it was leaving I connected on a quartering away shot and it only went 50 yards.

Just about the same size as my first! Good job LD! Now, don't you have several other growlers hitting those same baits? Hhhmmmmm???

Is this the one that was circling you the other night? Did he finally come in while you were in stand?

Good job, and great pics!!! Way to deflate his lungs! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys. I had 4-5 hitting that bait. I have pics of one hitting the bait in between the time I got down after shooting the one and the time I got back in to dress and drag it out. They all but stopped hitting the sunday before but were still coming in to smell everytime I freshened up so I shot the first one I saw. Im lending the site to my neighbors to see if they can get one. Maybe two off one site
