Peltier Dam hot spot

Good time to bring the kids and get into some bass fishing at Peltier Lake (Dam area). Been going out there for the pass week and that little place is loaded with bass. Averaging 10 bass per day and managed 23 bass on Wed(08/25). Many of them in the 15 inches range.

They be biting pretty much anything from senkos, flukes, crankbaits, creatures, and even drop shot. Get there early because that place can get pretty crowed, but 99% of the people there are fishing for sunnies. Plus bring some corn...tons of carp out there. I will probably be there tomorrow of Thusday morning. If any of you are there look for a guy wearing a straw hat with a light blue backpack. Good luck!!!

do u fish below the dam in the lake in a boat? or do u fish above the dam?

What do you mean even drop shots? From my experience the drop shot is one of the best baits there is for catching numbers of fish.

Was out there again this morning (7 to 10). Not as great as last week but still manage 6 around 15in. Lots of little dinks this time...caught about a dozen of them. All on plastic.

Anyone knows the fishing at Peltier Lake. The entire parking lot was full when I left. Maybe I should take my boat out there instead of shore fishng below the dam.
