Anyone else have them dropping already? I checked cameras the other day and already have a few dropping. It surprised me having them drop this early. White oaks too. Guess the trees may be stressed?

The acorns have been dropping here in Central WI for about a 7-10 days already, I thought it was early as well.

Don't know how long they've been dropping at Ottertail, but last weekend it sounded like hail on the steel roof. Got to the point where it almost was hard to walk outside without twisting an ankle.

BW. That's a good idea. I bet a guy could sweep up a couple buckets full of acorns out of a city street under a few oak trees in no time.

Myself, my 3 year old, my mom, and my niece and nephew picked up 5 gallons of acorns from my parents yard last Monday. We also picked up roughly 2 gallons of crabapples from their yard. We used 'em on a bait station two days ago and today not a trace of acorn was to be found in the area.
