The White Sox have a very explosive offense and some seasoned pitching...they'll be in the hunt til the end.

Keep the count-down running...September is going to get interesting as always...

Don't you have to take the number of games remaining, add one, then subtract the number of games ahead in the loss column the Twins are above their closest opponent in the division?

Therefore, isn't the magic number 34?

That's a great number!!!!

I don't know Harvey. This series with Detroit really scares me they are hotter than a pistol right now. Kind of reminds me of last year when the Twins were quite a few back and playing loosie goosie with all the pressure on the division leaders which happens to be us this year.

Hate to say it but this race is going right till the end again...DOH!

The Twins need to increase their lead this home stand, prior to the White Sox series there in two weeks, or it could be a tense finish.

In the meantime the Twins need to help themselves by winning their own series.

Has anyone else listened to the White Sox broadcasters? Random question I know, but my goodness they are the biggest homers in the league. Everything is WE WE WE against THEM THEM THEM. When the Sox score they will yell "YESSS!!". Stuff like that just makes it terrible to listen to.

Agree with that 100%. I'm not sure whether you are talking about the Hawk and Steve Stone on TV or Farmer and Jackson on the radio but these guys are huge homers. Not a lot of fun if you're a fan of the opponent. Harrelson is a hoot though.

It is kinda like watching the Twins play the Yankees on Espn, I refuse to turn the volume on when I watch Espn baseball. The announcer sucks!

The Hawk is the worst commentator in the history of sports. I really feel bad that whitesox fans have to suffer through that. He makes Bill Walton seem like Bob Costas

Wh SUX announcers are terrible, so sometimes when the Twin's were playing them on the Chicago tv channel, I just turn the sound OFF and listen to the Twin's announcers on the radio. They give a balanced perspective.

LOL!

They love Hawk in Chi-Town!

A little Cliff Clavin "useless" trivia I was at Willingers Golf course the day Hawk set the course record with a 66... smile

You might be too young for this Sled but I remember when Costas did NBA games back in the early 80's. This azz clown's signature call was whenever a long shot was made he'd yell BANG or BOOM. Geez talk about irratating.

I liked costas for baseball, and yes I remember him for basketball. I had to root for the local guy (whom I met the other week), before Minnesota got its own team.
