Rifle Range

Is it gonna be tough for me to find a range around the west metro to shoot at thats open to the public this week? I want to make sure my rifle is still good before i go up for bear season.

check the link at the top of the forum and call around a little. Call Caribou gun club in Le Suere. Isn't there a range between Hutchinson and Litchfield as well?

Does Monticello Gun Club have an open to the public day?

I don't know of any indoor ranges beyond 50yds.

I don't know when Mnkta Game and Fish starts their Deer Rifle Sight in days. I think it's a little early yet.

Dakota Co Gun Club doesn't start theirs until first weekend in Oct.

i thought monti was closed to the public i like about 5 min from there i think they only let ppl in right before deer season

Gotta love this state......I use a free one in SD that is set up by the SDGFP open year round and FREE (what a concept)!!! I dont get this dang state. They can build 80 skate parks,horse trails ect. Need more rifle and archery ranges. What 400,000 rifle hunters-how many are really sighted in?

The one in between Litchfield and Hutch is called Gopher Campfire. They have a 100 yard range and a few other ranges for rimfire rifles. It is open at all times but you must buy a $30 membership for the year.

Caribou is a great place to sight in a gun. Gopher Campfire just west and north of Hutchinson also but I do not know when they are open.
