Lake carlos

Mom says we need to take a family vacation so my sister lined up a private home for rent over labor day on Carlos. 9 family members will be there, we all used to go to Reno when we were kids, mom is 82. Dont know what to expect, never fished it but would like to get her on the lake. She hasnt been fishing for 10 yrs since dad past, just likes to catch fish. By the looks on the dnr lake thingy, its deep and clear. Not good for a first timer i would say. Sunnies would be fine for her, just looking for advice. Dont know what side of lake we are on, but I am an average fisherman, just looking for help.

head to the north end of the lake by the state park, fish in the reeds or on the edge you'll find some panfish.
