Anyone on Moose Lake?

I am heading up there next week and was wondering what the fishing is like and where they are. Mostly pan fish and walleyes. Thanks for any info.

There is a pretty long discussion called 'Moose Lake by Deer Lake' in the Grand Rapids Area forum.

Make sure you fish walleyes near sunset and until late dusk, 20 ft. or probably even less now. I was out there two weeks ago and started really catching them but had to leave at sunset since there are no lights on my boat and I had two 6 year olds with me.

Thanks Deet. I figured that since Deer River is closer to Moose Lake than Grand Rapids that this would be the area to post this question.

I did get up to Moose Lake and really hit the perch hard. They were the ones biting the most. Caught some sunnies and rock bass too with a walleye thrown in for good measure.
