Yeah I talked to hartys boat works and they have around 5". I'll be in frabill trekker deluxe, maybe i'll see some of you out there.

Should be good to go. There are a few drifts around but not too bad. I was bombing around Friday night with no problem. Stop in to joes he'll tell you what's up.

I got out last week and got one 19 inch eye a couple pike and one 9 inch perch. I was in 17 feet.

how big were the pike if you don't mind me asking. looking to get into some 24 plus inchers this year, lake is close to work would like to fish it this year. any tips on medicine would be great thanks.

Was out today. caught a 32" pike, Had another one take all my line off the spool and missed it and missed one other and caught 15 nice sunnies. Nice day.

Fished for about an hour today. Caught three Walleyes and missed a few others.

Anyone know if they allow you to park in the boat ramp trailer lot at French park in the winter without a trailer? Seems like a silly question but I've been hassled at other metro lakes.

I have never had issues there. I have heard at Minniwashta you will get a ticket but the couple times I parked there last year I didn't get a ticket but talked to a couple guys that did.

Was out this weekend a couple times and had 7"+ everywhere I drilled. Went out from the park on the east side by joes. Lots of ppl pulling ports and a few on wheelers.

Noticed on the drive home today on the West side of the lake there is a small white perm shack that was left on during this warm up and it fell through the ice out from the beach. be careful out there.

Made it out today the snow did not make things easy, I was surprised ice was only about 6-8" thought it might be a little thicker. Fishing was SLOW, weren't a ton of guys out there either.

I'm taking some buddies who never really ice fish out to Medicine,and I have never fished Medicine before persoanlly, any recommendations on where exactly to go? I don't need secret spots or honey holes, just wanna catch some fish and show these guys what its all about!

yeah, go to Harty's and buy some bait from him and he will tell you what is going on around the lake, including any spots you should watch out for. He has a big map on the wall too you can study. I have only fished it a few times myself but there are a couple of 40' crappie holes about 2500' NW of his place. He can point the way for you.

      application has been submitted. 👍   Leech......i've shot my share of bear......it be nice to get another but not the end of the world if i dont. i get to spend time with my son...its just another way to get into the woods. i've been at it since about 1976......that rush when you walk up to the bait and see the logs scattered all over and bait gone just doesnt get old for me.   i had to get rid of 1 rug because of bad tanning. i have another rug, shoulder mount and made 3 pillows from 2 different bear hides. my biggest issue has become what to do with the hide....that seems more of a trophy then the meat. i inquired 1 year at the Alex decoy show when there were a couple hide guys there and they didnt seem to interested. 🙄 i have no other ideas for the hide.......approval from the wife is not even negotiable!!!!!

      Something in May, like around Opener.  Could be white knuckles for boaters that weekend with the way things stalled out since the contest started and how thick it still is.   Highs in the 50’s coming but lows are around freezing and not a lot of wind in the extended forecast.   I’ll tell  ya what, if you change from 4/26 and it hits that date, I’ll buy ya some mythical FM beer.  And you know where you can find it. 😉. But don’t change on my account - this is still a free country!
