How are ice conditions - Drivable - water / slush on surface? Any help would be appreciated

If you stay on the trails packed by sleds you won't have a problem with a wheeler. Off that track you still or good to go on the majority of the lake. No truck travel as of 2 days ago.

You'll find layers of snow, frozen slush, slush, and then good ice. The snow is a few inches to drifts and where there is a drift count on slush. If you bust through the crust it'll be work to get out.

Was out there for the a couple hours for evening bite. A few gills and crappies. It won't be long till trucks will be out there.

There is now a plowed road onto Grand. It's in pretty good shape, and some folks have ventured off of it successfully in trucks. Not saying there aren't places where you could get into trouble. There probably are, but the road is good.
