At the top of the ridge we take a break after 1300' altitude gain. Today I'm sore and Jaeger can't move.

Can I ask where your GSP comes from? The solid back coloring, and solid head resembles a particular line of dogs where one of mine comes from.

Thanks. We are fortunate to have some extremely good lines of GSP here in SW Idaho/Eastern Oregon. My Jaeger has plenty of "Jet" & "Abe". The color is fairly common in our country. I've had liver & white shorthairs since the mid 80's.

Feel free to holler if you want more details bout the line.

Dunfur is a kennel in Washington state. He has some big time trial dogs that have the same blood (I think) that you mention.
