Recommended Posts

just wondering how people have been fairin on peirsons, cedar, bryant, etc. havent had much time for muskie fishing so far since my daughter was born. Use to do good on bryant propwash trollin but had to fish it in late fall or nasty weather days to avoid all the skiers.

I like to fish Bryant on Sundays. There's a no wake rule until 5 pm. Caught a nice looking tiger last month on a Walleye rig.

I've heard orchard lake is a pretty good tiger lake. I fish bass, but it sure is fun catching 'skies by accident.

My son and I went Muskie fishing today on a metro lake. Mrfish, we caught the muskie on the lake we met last winter, in almost the same spot. Well back to fishing. We trolled and casted, but got nothing.

We decided to take a break from Muskie fishing and try fishing for crappies in about 20 feet of water. We were using 1/32 oz jig tipped with a mr twister and 8lb test line. We caught a few sun fish. Then all of a sudden my son yelled out and I looked over and seen his light rod bent in half. The fight was on, the fish made a run or two then shot completely out of the water. It was big. I pulled up the anchor so the fish wouldn't get caught in it. After what seemed like a lifetime, but maybe was 10 or so minutes, the fish was in the net. My son had a 34 inch muskie.
