Bow Painting

Ok im thinking of getting kinda crazy, do you guys know of anyone who does bow painting? Looking to maybe have some stuff put on the limbs and what not? Anyone have a bow painted what are the results.

what kind of "stuff" are you looking for, it is camo it can't be any harder than doing camo on a gun. the gunsmith in becker does duracoat with a airbrush. It would doa great job on a bow and is very durable.

any idea on cost to do something like that. IM gonna be giving my bow to my gf so i wanted to my it more girl friendly some pink and stuff

You have to go with the pink camo and pink and black strings take it from me the chik's dig it and the deer don't care till their in the freezer

Sorry to butt in but would spray paint be a really bad idea for the limbs of my recurve? They are white right now and I don't know how much I can get away with on the ground without a blind. The limbs are wood but the outer layer is glass. I could just stick to fish, pheasants, and late season if paint isn't an option.

Matt you can get cloth camo covers that just velcro around the limbs or you can make your own.

In the "old days" we always used spray paint on our bows. No harm done.

IF you use duracoat, I think they have a flex agent to help it flex with the limbs.
