Voyageur Park Lodge

Thanks to all the staff at Voyager Park Lodge for a great week. It was my second trip to the lake but first time staying here. Once my wife takes the pics off the camera I'll post some. This was a family trip and if you are going on a fishing or family trip I highly recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed the fact that the cabins are spaced apart enough to give you ample privacy. The kids had fun at the beach, on the swing set and in the sandbox. In the beginning of the week the weather was less than spectacular. You could still get out on the lake but not so much fun for little kids. But we still had fun since they had movies for us to watch and we hung out in the game room playing board games and air hockey.

Casey showed me some spots to try on the lake, all that I stopped at had fish. One spot turned out to be dynamite for keeper size walleye/sauger/ and a mess of jumbo perch.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Greetings from the Northwoods!! I just would like to thank all of our 2009 guests for a great year here at Voyageur Park Lodge. We look forward to hosting many of you in 2010. We have many great improvements setup and work to be completed next spring, so we are excited to improve the property for all of our guests. Hey Sled, Nice to see that you have been spending some quality time on Kab. Fishing has been pretty good all year long. I'm sorry, but we don't have any tent camping spots here. We offer 10 private cabins and 1 2 bedroom Lodge suite. Have you tried chasing any big pike yet? I had a guest catch a couple of real nice ones a few weeks back.

No, I havent been pike fishing. Cant bring myself to do it when the walleyes are biting. whenever the first really cold week happens the pike fishing should explode.
