Park Rapids motels

Gents,

I was wondering if someone can recommend a motel in the PR area for a possible stay in late July. Unfortunatly due to my wife and I going through the big D, we are probably going to split our week at our usual resort location. I would like to stay in the area after I leave the resort, and continue to fish for the rest of the week. The main motels in PR, the ones on hwy 34, are full the last week of July.

I thought there were a few smaller motels in the area, but I can't remember their names, and locations. I am willing to drive a short distance to another nearby town if needed.

I stayed at the Come On Inn in Park Rapids last Fall and was very impressed. Very reasonable, flat screen T.V. and very nice rooms.

where are you fishing? is it the wife and kids or just the boys? i might have a cheap place for you to stay.
