You get to vote 25 times...not all my ballots were the same.

1B...you're right. Tough call between Morneau and Hrbek. Hrbek was there longer, and has the 2 World Series. My ballots were split between these two...most going to Hrbek. I also threw a couple votes for Mientkiewitz...there was about a year and a half that the guy dominated the "Web Gems" segment on Baseball Tonight.

2B...Knoblauch.

3B...Gaetti.

SS...Gotta give a mention to Guzman...for the "All Metrodome" team, the guy had a lot of turf hits and triples...my ballots were split between Gagne and Guzman.

C...Mauer is the best, but some of my ballots had Laudner...for posterity.

SP...Santana, Viola, Blyleven, Radke...my ballots were split among these four. Radke was there, every fifth game, for a loooong time.

RP...Nathan and Aguilera, but a few of my ballots had Reardon.

DH...Mostly Molitor, with a few ballots for Chili Davis.

edit: completely forgot the outfield...Kirby, Torii, and Gladden

Ude you crack me up. Working your list backwards great stuff.

So many nights cursing the blown games by Ron Ha. Ouch. Tough years. So what happens if you say alltime.

Here's some questions for you old farts.

Giatti or Killebrew (should be no doubt)

Puckett or Allison (Hmm tougher)

Pitchers Viola or Mudcat Grant

Santana or Kaat

(gets tougher again don't it)

Any others bring the bigger question?

Brian Harper as catcher. Mauer if he can stay healthy for a few more years without a dought.

My son thought about Ortiz, but thought some might mix up Jr. with David...All I remember about Borders, is he was supposed to get us over the hump that year.

C- Brian Harper and Joe Mauer is definitely on his way to be one of the faces of the Twins but not yet its too soon and needs to prove he can stay healthy.

1B- Kent Hrbek (all-time and dome) Morneau is definitely on his way though but not yet

2B- Chuck Knoblauch(dome) Rod Carew(all-time)

SS- Greg Gagne or Zoilo Versailles all-time

3B- Gary Gaetti just dome definitely a better fielder than Harmon Killebrew all-time

OF- Kirby Puckett, Torii Hunter, Tom Brunansky(Just dome), Tony Oliva(All time)

DH- Paul Molitor or Chili Davis

SP- Johan Santana(All time and dome), Frank Viola(dome only), Kevin Tapani(dome only), Jim Kaat(all time), Dean Chance or Jim Perry or Bert Blyleven(all-time)

RP- Rick Aguilera(dome), Joe Nathan(all-time and dome), Ron Perranoski(all-time)

PH- Randy Bush

Manager- Tom Kelly (All time)

Carew probably did...he played with the Angels until the early to mid '80s, didn't he? But it would have been as an Angel...

There's am idea: A All-Metrodome Visiting Team!

I will nominate Ken Griffey Jr: He always killed the Twins.

Cecil Fielder, got his first stolen base here, also didnt he pop one up into the roof that never came down Dont forget Knobs as a Yankee he realy... oh forget it!

Twins Pitchers should give an HM to Morris just for that Game 7

Pretty good choices all the way around. They skirted the issue at first base by honoring both guys. Pretty much agree with most of them.

Also added an outfielder which may or may have not been necessary. Guess Bruno and Gladden are on similar ground. Gladden came up huge in the playoffs though.

Yep and you had to appreciate the Glad-Mans all out hustle and great team first attitude!

How’s the the smallie bite? I’ll be up on Friday 😎 ~Tripp

Culling is not against the law in Minnesota unless you have a limit. (Which obviously applies in this case.)   They finally cleared up the language about it in the regs this year.
    • delcecchi
Since culling is against the regs in Minnesota, weighing in early is a great thing to do.   Congrats.

We're heading up tomorrow. Hoping for walleye but looking to mostly relax. We'll have leeches and minnows and any tips would be great. Just looking for enough for a good fish fry. Thanks in advance.
    • Jetsky
Caught a lot of small ones yesterday in 20 -30 ft.  A couple of eaters.  Minnows on Lindys clearly out fished the leeches on Lindys.
    • Hookmaster
Kudos for doing this. I'm sure a lot of fishermen would not have.
    • MikeG3Boat
I know it has been raining all week but anyone have any walleye reports?  Heading up for the holiday weekend and want to do some fishing.

Partyonpine, Would you be willing to share in what areas you were getting some nice Bluegills?  I am on the east end on big bay and would like to find some good panfish.
    • partyonpine
Opener and the week after were good.  Not the numbers we normally get but better quality in the East End.  Not surprised on the weights for the Auto City a.  Usually for us we only catch a few slot fish but we averaged 3 a day for 10 days.  2 overs, biggest 27 inches.     Our best luck was 12-16 feet for quality.  When we went deeper we caught more but smaller.  Bass were really starting to heat up.  For me little earlier than normal.  Found some nice Bluegills the day we went after some panfish.  Dock fishing was as many as we wanted per usual.
    • Shulsebus
We will be up on June 8th for the week. It will be our 13th year in a row staying on the lake.  I hope the walleye are hitting the bobbers by the time that we get there.
