Big Bay Ice

I look at the webcam at the casino and I can still see some ice. I see Eagle still calls it ice covered. Is the ice on Big Bay black? How much is left? I have to get to Pine Island. If gone I will be there today.

Pine Island is a big island. Where on Pine do you need to get to? If the west end or north, you should be good. Dells area....maybe iffy with this east wind.

I was just over on Birch Point. From Strawberry Island to the northeast tip of Birch Point there was still ice. As far as I could see, the rest of Big Bay looked ok, but there's still a lot that I couldn't see...I can't speak for Pine Island, but some areas probably have ice still blown up against the shore...

Thanks for the post! Any chance you were out there today? Heading up tomorrow and was hoping to get to Pine Island in the area you reference. Although a night in the Casino wouldn't be horrible
