Whats needed to hit WI for bass opener this weekend?

No, the boat and trailer will be fine but remember, bass isn't open north of highway 70.

Correction, make that highway 77 to 27 south to highway 64 and it is open for catch and release.

Thanks. I wasnt thinking of going that far north anyways. Looking to meet up with a friend that lives in hammond and hit a local lake. Catch and release only! Who keeps bass? LOL

thanks for the clarification.. Bass is open in the whole state of WI, but the northern "Zone" is catch and release only..

As for any special stuff needed. No, but make sure you read the regulations booklet as they do have some different laws and such.. IE some areas Trolling is not allowed.

Make sure your MN registration is current. I've been stopped 3 times to check and make sure it is current. As long as the boat's registered somewhere you are good to go.
