Anybody tried trilene maxx? how do you like it?

I have ran it a couple years now I like it.

I ran it and it was ok but I found it rather stiff in smaller diameter than other trilene like XL or XT.

Im running it for the first time on one of my line counters. It looks like it should do the trick. Im not too sure how it would be for casting unless you are using a small diameter.

I just bought the max in 6 pound held memory so bad probably the worst i ever had stripped both rods after the first night of casting and switched to spider wire fished last night with it probably the smoothest line ive ever used. Will it cut the water like fire line pulling plugs because it is a braid?

Tried it a few years ago and hated it. Took it off the spool(s) first thing as I returned home. Terrible memory and stiffer than XT. Stick with XL or my favorite is Sensation.

I tried it when it first came out. Same opinion, just terrible.

I bought two 330 yd spools of XL from Gander that had a 110 yd spool of Maxx shrinkwrapped onto it, they must be trying to get rid of it!

Was going to try trilene MAX, thanks for the heads up, now i dont have to waste my time or money
