The Border Water Challenge costs $100/ team to enter and the top prize is $2500 paying all the way down to 20th place.

The BWC is probably the best ran tournament I have ever fished. I'd highly recommend fishing it to anyone.

This year the bite was a bit tough for a lot of us after the cold front swung through. But never the less, you can always expect guys to put a good pattern together.

I am already looking forward to next year.

Yeah, not bad.. and the whole concept is pretty cool. It's the Border Water Challenge because MN and SD actually compete for a traveling trophy. The state with the most participants in the top ten wins and the trophy goes to either Schmidts Landing (SD) or Bud's Bait (MN). The trophy spent it's first two years in SD, but.... some way, some how....Minnesota took it this year.

Rost is right on. The BWC is a good time. I fished the first one and I can't think of a better thought out, well run tournament.

Lots of fun and dayng, there were some nice walleyes at the weigh in.
