Does anyone know what or if there is anything in it, especially below the freeway down by Hallett dock. Also has anyone tried anything in the bay by the R-R tracks where the creek dumps in?

Carp, bullheads, suckers and a crappie or walleye and pike every so often. Havent fished it since I was a kid.

Hunter, There can be some absolutely dynamite lawyer fishing down there, as well as some really big mudcats. My grandfather taught me a few tricks for catching them. His secret bait? Deer testicles. Gramps would save every gonad from every deer shot during the season. He was even know to liberate the jewels from road-kills. There's something about the odor they produce, plus being tough and sinewy, they're almost impossible to strip from a hook. Let me know how things work out for you. I may start fishing down there again myself.

Thanks, I'll be trying it out next week, I talked to a guy yesterday that was fishing there, he said there was some big cats caught last weekend. he also said he had caught some pout there last summer
