Fish hatchery

Just thought I'd let everyone know that they are catching fish and milking them for eggs at the Spirit Lake (IA) fish hatchery. They catch walleye, northern, and muskie out of Big Spirit and the Okobojis. It is really cool to see, and the workers there, both at the hatchery and out catching fish, are very polite and informative.

I try to make it down there every year and see those 28" walleye and 50" muskie that I can never seem to catch.

don't forget the rods. the whites should be running in the spillway too. tons of fun for kids and grown ups alike.
