I stay with a bunch of friends on this lake every year around the end of July and I was just looking at the DNR survey and it shows that there are tulibee in this lake. I was thinking it might be kinda fun to try for some of them this year. Does anyone have any tips for them, or know where I would start to look for them? Thanks in advance.

I have never fished them on third crow wing but have caught them on other area lakes just tossing a small tube jig with about a 1/64 oz jig head. You can locate them by watching for the scools to surface then just head towards them and pitch your jigs.

They are a tough fish to find in the summer, in my opinion. They move alot, good electronics are a must and look for them to be suspended somewhere in the lake. I'm not sure on that lake but this is just "in general".

One more quick point. You can find them on Long Lake on the north end where everybody likes to fish crappies. Just go out close to dark and watch for them to start to surface.
