Why to my lil jon diver disks float??

I was trolling the pond yesterday and my diver disks(not dipseys) kept coming to the surface?? why would they do that. my set up is 12 lb trilene sensation on 7.6 foot rods trolling anywere from 1.8-2.5 mph?

What trolling bags do ya have?

Did you have the disks on backwards? I know stupid question but I always seem to put out at least 1 dypsie backwards a year.

Maybe they got cracked?

hmmmm....getting old and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. maybe i did put them on backwards.

yup. but one does the trick in my 17 footer. i think two would prevent that side pulling

if you have a smallish type boat, i have used 2 5 gallon pails and they also slowed me down . a pain in the rear pulling them in though

How much line out with the divers? Did you have the dial cranked too far??

weird sounds like dial was set in the wrong spot or yes hooked up backward

If they dove then came up Im thinking the dial was slipping or too far. If it just went out and skimmed the top or just under the surface Im guessing on backwards.
