How is the ice looking? With the extreme weather we've had this winter, how long do you think it will be before the ice goes out?

Indeed, I'm getting the itch to come up to our property. Hope the ice comes off earlier than last year. I'm hoping for late April, very early May.

It's going to be a while. I think most years, Portage is the first lake to go out and usually around April 12 - 14th. I'm thinking we are at least 10 days away, probably longer.
