There was just a very small piece of ice at the very south end where Bald Eagle Blvd hits the lake around 2 this afternoon.

Any reports of green slime out there? It can really get full of that stuff sometimes. Then they drop in the chemicals....yuck.

We were out there and got skunked. Great to be on the water, but had trouble getting anything to bite.

EXCEPT

I literally caught a clam, not just a side hook, but the thing closed down on my jig... funniest catch since the dead rat I snagged last year.

Slime weeds all over the lake. Found temps from mid 50s to 61 in the northern most tip of the lake. Crappies bit on and off all day but really turned on around 6pm. They were all small <10. On to the next lake.
