My new toy

I just pulled the trigger on one of these. She's gonna go on a 9ft 6" 5-6 wt im building.

Anyone have one?

i dont haave the evolution but i just got a momentum and its awesome besides the fact that it hasnt seen a fish yet.

I have the same one, only black. Nice reel. Unless the design changed in the last few years - I have one piece of advice - if you have an extra spool and ever change them out - make sure the new one is fully seated and not just appears to be seated. I had a spool fall out in a little bit of deeper water and it was a total pain to retrieve without banging it all around.

I have that reel only size 1. I use it on my 3 wt that I use 99% of the time fishing NE IA streams. In the fall I occasionally hook into a decent brown or rainbow that puts the drag to work -- fish that I probably should be fighting with a 5 or 6 wt. Not often but a few times. It has done really well. I think you will love the reel.
