I thought about the casino, but I wanted a place where I could keep my boat in the water over night.

That's good, but be careful leaving your boat over night on that lake. Is there a harbor? I have seen the wind do some crazy things on that lake.

house is actually located in a small channel a couple hundred yards off the lake. So wind should not be an issue. I agree though, ive seen boats flipped over along the shore. (18ft boats)

your boat would be safe at lwf and have very low rates on cabins call....you may be surprized

Oh Wow! Thanks for the info CC!

I know it is the East-side, but Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort has some very nice prices. You can keep you boat out on the dock as long as no bad weather is on the radar (bows out though!). Heck, with the valet launching and loading, you can hop in your boat right at your cabin and not step a foot out until you are back again at your cabin wink.
