is there any area around here the DNR strips the pigs of there eggs and sperm? i would like to go see this done

At winni they do. Not sure when but I bet if you call the dnr they could tell you. I would like to see that as well.

There are a ton of areas around Bemidji where the DNR does milking.

Woodman, care to chime in? He takes his group of kids from school to watch the DNR and become educated in the whole deal in the Spring... It's a lot of fun, especially when the DNR will step aside to show the kids what's what...

I take a class to the Blackduck river on lower red every year, and I just talked to the Red Lake CO's today and they have not started yet. Big/Andrusia is a good spot and I will be taking my family to Cut Foot this year!

Just got off the phone with Bemidji area fisheries and they stated that they are 2 weeks out intil they set traps. It all depends on the weather. THey did inform me that the Big Lake creek is on private property and the land owner has requested nobody on the land except for the fishery people. I also heard back from Grand Rapids about Cut Foot and they also stated that they are a few weeks out of setting traps and once again it all depends on the weather.

Should be pretty quick though I have seen walleyes in a few cricks at night the past week.
