Nice Lund Tiller. I thougth it was Ike at first.

How fast does that fastcat go Post?

Posted

We've got her up to the upper 70's. They had one in Florida where they build them with two 200's on it that went 120 mph. Pretty cool. But the best thing is that with the catamarans it is really stable and it skips across the top of rollers. So when you would normally be getting beat up in a V haul, we can usually get her on top of the waves barring the occasional rogue wave.

Todd, very nice looking rig--a good bit prettier than your old Triton. Did your old rig stay in the area? I'm still looking at wheel boats and the Allure is a beauty. If our paths cross at Rocky I would sure like to check it out--if you have an open seat in trolling time, i'm around most weekdays.

Take care.

LOL @ MM, at least you had a motor.. my first was a sevelor inflatable, and I sat on the back with swim fins... I was pretty weedless though, and rarely ran out of gas.

LOL Swim fins, I think I would run out of gas everyday.

Thanks guys! I am very happy with it. I had ran Lunds for years. I was not even in the market to buy a new boat but, I fished the Wave Wacker out of a 1890 last year and I was done. By far the nicest rig that I have fished out of. Sorry to ramble. Can you tell that I am excited!!!

LOTW---very nice job man! i am actually doing a very similar project on my 1985 Lund S-16 Delux. You did a real good job on the carpeting...

i was just curious, did you use carpet adhesive? did you also use a nail gun on the back side? that was my process, and i was jus wondering what your process was.

great job again!

I've been in tillers with the bigger motors. Now days with the power steering and all the gadgets, they are pretty easy to handle. The Warrior is a sweet ride for sure.

Srj,

Old Triton is history, long story to be told over a beer or 8. I'm sure our paths will cross this summer, maybe we can even drag old fisky out of the weeds. If you like the Allure, I have another brand new one in Brainerd at CP, which is the warranty replacement for the old aluminum triton. See you this summer.

The 150 is no problem with the power steering. It is a very open floor plan to have a 20' boat with nothing in the way. Just think about it, if the fish are not biting I can always bring a bowling ball and pins!

My new Crestliner 1850 as of a couple weeks ago....not a good pic but the only decent one I have. The first outing two weeks ago on Owasso.

LOTWSvirgin.....here's my dad's Bass Tracker. Bought it new in 85' and has severed it's purpose well. Might be selling it now though as I have a new rig. Will be hard to see it go with all the trips to Canada it has made. We did have to replace the main floor in it a number of years ago, and a few of the other areas in the rear. Livewell had to be removed as well so that's not long functional. Looks like there is room for some storage space up front under the deck in between the ribs, never new that as we did not replace the front deck.

Todd, might be in Brainerd this weekend--if so, I will check out CP. Sounds like a mighty nice warranty replacement and gotta be interesting--I will buy!

If you ever get over east and need a dock spot, I finally got the floater in last summer in Bostic---tie up anytime.

Sorry Matt... couple times we saw you guys, we were anchored downstream from you in the bay when you guys were pulling into/maneuvering around the pack of boats.

Should have pulled in and said Hi but lots of other folks to say hi to and dinner was calling as well.
